Bellaire Youth Initiatives

The Bellaire Youth Initiative (BYI), a non-profit organization offering after
school opportunities, in Bellaire, Mi, received a $1,000 grant that allowed
Bellaire Middle School students to enjoy a snowy day on the slopes of Schuss
Mountain.
The sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders had a choice to learn to ski or
snowboard. With instructors on hand, some of the 65 students even tried
both disciplines.
