When I was 15, I clicked into a binding on a bunny slope in Southern Indiana having no idea the transformative pathway that would be in store for me. Since that time I became an instructor, taught full time, went through college to get my business degree, and develop a ski area management career track – all while enjoying the various connections and extensive travels associated with the ski industry.
After college, my career path has taken me to Crystal Mountain, MI where I am employed year-round as a sales manager for ski and membership programs. I still make a priority of both instructing often each winter and coaching kids ski racing. I love my job on the business side of the industry, and being a ski instructor/coach is in my DNA. There is no doubt that skiing and PSIA altered my path in life, both personally and professionally. When I’m not busy with these things, I enjoy traveling, attending ski clinics around the country, cycling, and whatever other adventures arise.
Being on the board of directors for PSIA-AASI-C is an exciting opportunity to give back to an association that has been very shaping for me.
