What drives them?

Your Philosophy as an Education Staff Member:

I never teach a “beginner” lesson – I teach beginners how to become advanced skiers.

Why do you serve on the education staff?

I serve on the Educational Staff for entirely selfish reasons… well mostly… not only do I get to ski with the best skiers and educators in the world, I get to spend time with new skiers at all levels and help guide them on their way to new experiences. Educational Staff also provides an environment where I challenge my own knowledge and skills in order to constantly evolve. Working with others, whether an instructor training for further certification or the 77 year old grandfather who has been out a couple time because his 7 year old grandson talked him into skiing, always puts a smile on my face. It’s about the Fun (yes, safety first) and an engaging learning experience. Oh, and ripping it up on a long cruiser.
