Course Description:

What: The Snowboard Level 3 Exam is the third step in the certification process and allows the candidate to have their riding, teaching, and professional knowledge evaluated to see where they line up with AASI Level 2 National Standards.

Why: The Level 3 exam allows the candidate to learn collaboratively with the PSIA C education staff and other candidates. The Level 3 exam is the beginning step in the exam process for instructors who wish to expand their teaching careers.

How: This is a two-day exam with one examiner on the first day and another examiner on the second day. Candidates will be tested both days on their skills associated with teaching, riding, and professional knowledge. See the Level 3 certification study guide for more details.

Prerequisites:

• Complete the Central Snowboard Level 3 Study Guide.
• Snowboard Level III Professional Knowledge Online Exam 
• Review the National Standards
