The Level I Virtual Module is a 2 hours introduction to the organization and resources available to PSIA-AASI members. It is an "onboarding process" that transitions a new member from "interested" to "informed."
Your clinician will guide you through the elements of a beginner lesson using personal experience and video segments. Participants will be encouraged to share their own methods, progressions, and experiences.
Topics to be covered include:
A computer, Internet connection, and microphone or phone are mandatory; a webcam is highly recommended.
Participation is expected during the webinar. Participants may expect to teach the group how to perform or execute a task unrelated to skiing or snowboarding- from "how to make an omelet" to "shoe-tying 101". A computer with audio and webcam is necessary for participation.
Members seeking Level I certification then continue to the appropriate E-Learning course or Online Written exam if not previously completed, and a one-day, on-snow assessment.
