Thought you missed your chance for CEU’s?

We understand– on-snow and local options were small with limited capacity– and it may feel like your widow for continuing education credits is starting to close. Luckily, the PSIA-AASI Central Division education staff has been working diligently– evaluating the needs of the membership based upon exam and clinic performances. The result has been a new array of courses designed to present new ideas and concepts and tune your movement analysis eye.

The first opportunity is coming up fast– February 18th to be precise– but there are still a few spaces available.

Freestyle for Fraidy-Cats is an online course to help introduce the terms and concepts of freestyle without the risk. No boxes to slide, no threes, no sevens, no calling your drops.

This 2 CEU course is available now, by registering through the PSIA-C calendar HERE.

Next, you can dream of the steeps, the deep, the big drops and the narrow chutes while improving your M.A. eye with “Did You See That?!” The BIG MOUNTAIN EDITION.  You’ll learn to assess movements relative to tactics and technique and the Five Fundamentals of Alpine Skiing. Perfect for those seeking Alpine Level III, but beneficial to all who want to better understand skiing in the “Applied Fundamental” realm. Starts February 24th, and the first edition of this course is being led by Training Director for Keystone Resort- Paul Bowman. Click HERE to register.

We’ve got more courses coming- “Did You See That?!” In the Beginner Zone is already on the calendar and ready for signups, Did You See That?! In the Race Arena is in development right now.

We’ll keep ’em coming, check your calendar often.

Learn the concepts of freestyle from the comfort of your recliner.
Big Mountain Skiing is fun to watch- for the fundamentals and the tactical choices a skier makes. Learn the language of BMS through Movement Analysis and O.E.P. (Observe, Evaluate, Prescribe).
