St. Francis DeSales High School

St. Francis DeSales High School, Columbus, Ohio, received $1,500 to offset participation costs for two scholarship students. The club has more than 66 members. About 20 were first- and second-year participants. Despite a slow start to the season, the club managed five visits to Snow Trails in Mansfield, Ohio. All students received helmets, goggles, hand warmers, pizza and snacks, transportation, as well as access to lessons. Milton, a scholarship student, was proud to report riding his board down Manfield Trail, one of the more difficult runs at the resort.
